often and I rarely get myself to bed early. I know during pregnancy this is even more important, baby is also using my energy to grow healthy and let’s be honest life is busy! So off I trot to bed, 10pm (doing good for me 🙈), check on miss L, give her a kiss goodnight, pop to the loo (for the millionth time today), set up my pregnancy pillow, climb in bed & snuggle into the blankets. Mmmm sleep 💤
So first of all, I have to say….
Congrats on your pregnancy! I am so excited for you!
One of the things that women immediately ask is “what am I supposed to eat when I’m pregnant?”
Well I’m here to help you with foods to focus on in each of your trimesters.
Yes! You did it! You are now in your second trimester, fingers crossed any sickness is easing (or stopped) and you are enjoying your pregnancy. During your second trimester you can find out the gender of your wee miracle and you will begin to feel their movements. Your needs will begin to change during these …
The NHS describe it as ‘Severe vomiting in pregnancy’ and quite frankly that’s only touching the surface. There is so much to this condition that people are still unaware of and this only adds to the confusion, loneliness and guilt surrounding it. But I can promise you that if you want an accurate account of what living with HG is like and how you can get through the day without wanting to cry, scream or take a cocktail of medication to just make the sickness go away you’ve found that here (ok I did lie a little bit, there was some crying and medication involved, but only the one!).
You’ve found out your pregnant! Yay! Congratulations!
An exciting journey is about to unfold but being 100% honest it’s not always easy. For a lot of mumma’s especially in the first trimester (or first 12 weeks) so I have been gathering a list of what has supported myself and other mums through that first trimester.
I almost can’t believe that there are only 4 weeks left to go until we are expecting our little bundle to arrive! As I’m sure you and especially other mummas can imagine these last few weeks of pregnancy have been more exhausting mentally & physically. And let’s not forget I am also the CEO of …
In my experience, it is true what they say that inspiration can strike at the most unlikely of places, and as a Holistic Therapist, I can understand why. When we let our guard down, are in a relaxed state and not trying too hard, that nice space of calm equilibrium allows us to be open to new possibilities.

When I looked at my son his bundle of black punk hair and little squishy face I knew what love really was. We talk about love very freely as human beings – but I truly believe until you hold your baby in your arms you don’t experience that overwhelming feeling of love. The surge flows …
The community for me was the best place to be during an uncertain time in everyone’s lives. You are surrounded by people who want to wake up early, exercise online and make changes to their daily habits and these were my type of people. You virtually meet people and they become your close friends, we have zoom parties to celebrate our success and surprises along the way.
